12.09.05 - American McGee's Alice movie still in development
Hooray! Thought this got shelfed/canned but its back in the news... fangoria just ran a little bit of info on it.

For those not in the loop, American McGee's Alice is one of the best pc platformers and visually stunning. Very twisted and unique.

Not sure about the director choice, seems a bit of a hollywood cronie based on Texas remake. Hopefully its as good as the game though! This could be the best video adaptation to date if they get it right, everything is setup for it to be. Only weak scripting and a poor waterdown hollywood cash-cow project can screw it up really.
