Chuck Russell (ERASER, THE SCORPION KING) has penned a script for the project which will be marketed at the AFM next week reports Variety. In the original 1978 PIRANHA , a particularly nasty prehistoric strain of the flesh-eating fish is unleashed in Arizona's Lake Havasu just as college kids come to party there.
