Festival favourite Fanomenon Night of the Dead marks its 10th year with Night of the Dead X: 10th Anniversary Special Edition. An extended 12 hour programme of unmissable horror features, stunning short films and all the usual fun and games audiences have come to love make this celebration of the bloodiest, craziest and most horrific night in the North an event that you simply cannot miss.
We kick off with Choose, the new gory shocker from Marcus Graves and starring up and coming star Kathryn Winnick (Cold Souls, LIFF 2009) certain to get your pulse racing. Next up we have the new real-time fearfest The Silent House from Uruguay which will have you jumping out of your seat. Australia’s The Loved Ones follows with plenty of blood and guts to please any self-respecting horror fan. Night of the Dead wouldn’t be the same without some Far Eastern mayhem and we round off the night with Mutant Girls Squad, the latest Japanese splatterfest to satiate all you gorehounds! There will be some other surprises in store, but we don’t want to give everything away just yet – just make sure you book your tickets early as Night of the Dead always sells out and you don’t want to be disappointed!
