A man is trapped in the woods with undead spirits who possess the living.
This film is simply the top of it's class... brilliant!. Unlike the 'realistic' approach of Evil Dead, the second one goes far beyond.. and because of it is probably the best horror film of that time. Don't get confused if you've seen the first film, yes Ash is back in the cabin which confuses those who over analysis, but this is not a remake, the first few minutes are merely a retelling, ignoring the characters that are now irrelevant to the second film. You can clearly see where the first film leave off and the second night begins (Evil Dead 1 = first night)
