Review: Exactly what Fessenden accomplishes throughout this intriguing film. Habit is definitely worth watching, as Fessenden?s minimalist film is tightly constructed to haunt without terrorizing, playing far deeper on our psyches than surface level horror. Whether Anna represents a modern day vampire or an imaginary demon is irrelevant to cinema lovers who enjoy provocative film that won?t vanish from your memory minutes after viewing. Now if only more of Fessenden?s films would get wider release, those of us living outside New York and LA could see his films on the screen. Excellent movie.
