Comment A very light and entertaining movie from the famed Peter Jackson (genre vetern, as well as pretty acomplished actor to date, not many director's have trilogies like Lord of the Rings under their bealt). This is the totally unavailable and rare director's cut, it was only released in a small number on Laserdisc in the states, but this is a LDcap (with region encoding changes unfortunately) and is definitely one for collector's.
A psychic private detective who consorts with deceased souls becomes engaged in a mystery as members of the town community begin dying mysteriously. While investigating, he is aided by a friendly doctor who believes in his psychic abilities and is hindered by a crazed G-Man, a woman involved in an old serial killing, and what may be the spirit of Death itself.
