Ace is a rocker wannabe who idolizes the strict coolness of Guitar Wolf. After a particularly blazing gig he storms in back stage to find the band in a Mexican standoff with the club owner who was sexually abusing a groupie. Ace?s distraction gives Guitar Wolf the element of surprise leading to a brutal and gory gunfight that ends with them on the run and ACE becoming their blood brother. Meanwhile, Alien ships are dotting the skies and bringing the dead back to life.
Quirky and slightly dissapointing asian horror flick. Those expecting "Versus" better stay clear... this is an entirely different kettle of fish, or coffin of bones, or whatever analogy takes your fancy. It has received very varying reviews, from SFX's "WORK OF INSANE GENIUS. THE SORT OF FILM THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO.... POGO NAKED ON THE ROOF SCREAMING 'ROCK AND ROOOOOLL'!" to less flattering reviews on sian fan sites.
