Highschooler Donnie is plagued by visions of a giant evil rabbit who orders him to commit acts of violence and predicts the impending end of the world.
Heralded by many as one of the best films in recent years, it successfully taps into the "weirdness" vibe put out by many avante garde films and film noir, It's is beautfully shot and has a pace about it that fits in perfectly to it's story. Although it is quite easy to get the story first time round (despite what the cretins may say), it is worth watching again, if only to pick on things you missed the first time round Although not particularly a "horror" film in any disctinction, more of a Sci-fi drama, but there is a very dark atmosphere and nightmare like segments that i think warrant a placement here. Recommended viewing.
